This is a case of the taskbar really being the better way fulfill these functions. The dock is a common complaint for windows users this isnt a case of stubborn users rejecting change or a different way of doing things. Anyway, my question would be a little different. Even with its issues it is better than the dock. DockView extends OS Xs Dock and shows window previews.activating. It's time to better understand a Hyperdoc and a doc with links (also known in the biz as a multimedia text set). Version 1.8 just released with support for Mojave.
